The successful development of the Györ plant began in October 1994 when the first four-cylinder five-valve engines left the production line there.
Following three further construction stages, virtually the entire range of Audi engines is now manufactured at Györ. The plant's activities have also included the assembly of the Audi TT since 1999 and of the A3 since 2001 in a hall measuring around 35,000 qm.
This production location gained further in importance with the opening of the Technical Centre with its design area, engine testing facility and workshops. After all, Audi is already determining the course it will take in the future.
