Sensationl success in 2002 DTM seasonHans-Jürgen Abt’s team, which sensationally won the 2002 DTM as a Audi customer team against the might of the works teams, enters four A4 DTM cars shared equally between two teams. Approximately 50 employees are in action for Abt Sportsline at the DTM events.
Motorsport has always played an important role in the Abt family business. The father of Hans-Jürgen and Christian Abt, who passed away in 2003, was a successful racing driver. It was also Johann Abt who built up the Abt tuning business and laid the foundation for today’s successful company.
