The optional built-in phone is operated from the MMI or by the standard leather-covered multifunction steering wheel in conjunction with the driver information system. It enables direct access to entries and phone numbers in the address book.
A cordless handset is available as a further optional extra. It uses Bluetooth technology to deliver a private call ambience without a handsfree unit, maximum freedom of movement, import of phone numbers from the SIM card memory into the memory of the Multi Media Interface (MMI) as well as direct dialling of numbers stored in it.
